Our Mission

The aim of HPIA is to build a islamic environment of excellent morals and maintaining islamic and family values in the comminity. We strives to be a vibrant source of guidance and knowledge of our community in High Prairie. We have established, maintained and conducted a diverse array of programs, activities and classes according to the Quran and the Sunnah of our Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H). We are dedicated to serving the needs of our community regardless of their ethnic, economic, language or racial background. We endeavor to be a catalyst for positive changes within our community through unity, leadership and action.

The HPD Islamic Association shall be a non-profit charitable religious organization. The organization will be operated without purpose of gain for its members, and any profits, income, donations or other assets of the organization will be used solely to promote its objectives.

The aims and objectives

HDP OBJECTIVES

• 5 To establish and maintain a community centre, called house of worship, to perform daily services such as prayers, sports and other learning activities for the youth, adult men and women in accordance with the tenets and doctrines of Islam
• To advance religion by teaching the religious tenets, doctrines and observances associated with Islam.
• To advance religion by conducting religious and educational programs to empower Muslim youth(male/female) in accordance with the tenets and doctrines of Islam.
• To advance religion by preaching the teachings, and religious tenets, doctrines and observances associated with Islam.
• To relieve poverty by providing food and other necessities of life to individuals or families in need.

The HPD Islamic Association shall be financed by:

• contributions, donations and other sources consistent with the purposes of the HPD Islamic Association and approved by its Board of Directors
• The finances of the HPD Islamic Association shall be budgeted and approved for the fiscal year as set forth in the bylaws. /li> li>The expenditures shall not exceed the present funds unless approved in a General Body meeting. /li>
